The Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team with daily prep, service, and cleaning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, likes structure, and wants to learn in a professional kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with food preparation (washing, chopping, basic prep) Support cooks during service Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen Handle dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) Help with receiving and organizing deliveries Support waste sorting and sustainability practices We’re Looking For Someone Who Is dependable, punctual, and hardworking Can follow instructions and work well in a team Is comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods Has basic understanding of kitchen hygiene (training provided if needed) Stays calm and helpful during busy periods Nice to Have (but not required) Previous kitchen or café experience Interest in cooking or food preparation Experience with vegetarian or café-style kitchens What We Offer A respectful and supportive work environment Training and clear routines Flexible working hours Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to gain kitchen experience and grow How to Apply Send a short introduction and your CV
