We are now looking for a Test Engineer to join our growing team at our Helsinki office. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and quality of Puntas products – hardware and software alike. Our technical teams are at the heart of customer satisfaction and project success, and as a Test Engineer, your contribution will be visible every day in the products used by our customers in Finland and around the globe. You are technically minded, hands-on and motivated, with a solid understanding of QA processes and real enthusiasm for test automation and modern development tools. Youll work closely with software developers, product management and hardware experts, taking end-to-end ownership of test planning, execution and reporting for a variety of products and platforms. Your responsibilities: - Test planning for all Punta products (hardware and software) - Design, set up and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for testing and releases - Set up and maintain end-to-end automated testing for all products, using industry-standard frameworks such as Robot Framework (incl. real hardware integration) - Execute manual and automated test cases, and document defects and results in a systematic way - Support developers in troubleshooting and identifying root causes of issues - Participate in the design and development of test jigs and fixtures What we expect from you: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - At least 2 years experience in QA roles - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI) - Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies - Experience in manual test planning and execution - Experience with industry-standard automation/testing frameworks (especially Robot Framework, and experience running end-to-end tests involving real hardware) - Experience with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, Bash) for test automation - Basic understanding of electronics and embedded systems Nice to have: - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) - Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
