Senior Geologist

We are looking for a Senior Geologist to join Terrafame in Sotkamo in a responsible role within our unique battery chemicals production chain. The position will start as soon as possible by agreement. This is a permanent, full-time day shift position, and partial remote work is possible. Your responsibilities include: Ore modelling and Resource Estimation Infill drilling project management Database maintenance, including quality control processes Ore body development and reconciliation Internal reporting and participation in external reporting You will work as part of the Mining Technical Services Department, which includes mine geology, exploration, rock mechanics, mine surveying, and mine planning. You will also collaborate closely with the mine production organization and other production departments. You have at least eight years of experience geological work and five years of experience ore and block modelling. You can do modelling with Leapfrog and you are familiar with QA/QC process. You have experience about project management. You have good collabration skills and you value team work. You have awareness of mining safety risks and a willingness to develop operations. What we expect from you: A Master degree in geology (M.Sc.)
