Hull fitter (Heavy plate worker)
JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: - Be able to work according ships block fabrication / ships hull erection drawings. Must be able to work independently with the drawings and work instructions - Skills to work with Oxy-Acetylene Cutter cutting steels and aluminium structures - Be capable to align Steel and Aluminium structures / plates varying from thickness 4 mm to 35 mm - Must be able to perform Tack welding with Flux cored consumable electrode - Working with power tools, Hydraulic jacks - Understanding of safe working methods - Able to use Plumb, levels and measurement devices - Capable of working at heights and confined spaces Our expectations: - At least 5 years of experience in ship fitting. - Availability to move to another worksite if needed.
