Zenica is a specialized industrial contractor with long-term experience in complex mechanical assembly and installation of high-pressure and high-purity piping systems for international partners in the shipbuilding, LNG, energy, chemical, petrochemical and heavy-industrial sectors. Our teams are trained and deployed for highly demanding environments where precision, safety, documentation accuracy and compliance with European technical standards (EN, DIN, ISO) are mandatory. We are looking for experienced Industrial Pipe Fitters for installation of stainless-steel LNG piping systems on large-scale shipbuilding projects. The position includes installation of highly specialized stainless-steel piping systems on LNG vessels. Main responsibilities: - Prefabrication, installation and alignment of single-wall and double-wall (mantle/duplex) stainless-steel LNG piping systems with strict tolerances. - Execution of tasks strictly according to isometric drawings, P&ID diagrams, welding maps and shipyard documentation. -Preparation, measurement, cold fit-up and securing of pipe spools with high accuracy and minimal allowed deviation. -Installation of supports, hangers and special components as per shipyard-approved IFC/AFC documentation. -Cooperation with QA/NDT teams and full compliance with inspection routines. -Work executed in demanding shipyard environments: tight spaces, multi-level vessel sections, confined spaces, elevate -Reading, interpreting and executing isometric drawings, P&ID diagrams and technical documentation. -Preparation of pipe routes, positioning, leveling, clamping and securing of pipe spools and supports. -Performing all tasks in accordance with shipyard HSE rules, permit-to-work procedures and safety instructions. Mandatory requirements: Candidates must meet all of the following criteria: Documented shipyard experience – mandatory -Minimum 5+ years verified experience specifically in shipbuilding, on vessels under construction (not repair), working on stainless-steel process piping systems. LNG / duplex piping experience – mandatory Documented experience handling and installing: -duplex and mantle (double-wall) piping, -LNG-grade stainless steel materials, -cryogenic or high-purity pipe installations. Advanced technical drawing proficiency – mandatory Ability to independently read, interpret and execute: -isometric drawings, -P&ID diagrams, -material take-offs, -shipyard installation specifications. Basic reading skills are not sufficient — candidate must demonstrate complex layout execution. Precision assembly under strict tolerances – mandatory -Proven capability to maintain alignment, slope, centerline and spacing tolerances required for LNG piping systems. Finnish shipyard access compliance – mandatory Ability to obtain (before starting work): -Finnish shipyard safety induction, -Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti) and Occupational Safety Course -Hot Work Pass (Tulityöpassi) if required, - Confined space entry readiness (permit-to-work, gas monitoring). Ability to work in challenging vessel sections – mandatory Work frequently performed in: -Confined/enclosed spaces, -Multilevel blocks, -Onboard structures with limited access, -Elevated platforms and narrow passages. Workmanship quality & documentation discipline – mandatory Candidate must demonstrate: -Consistent high-precision workmanship, -Adherence to QA instructions, -Ability to work under strict deadlines and inspection procedures. Only candidates who meet all mandatory requirements will be considered. Knowledge of the Bosnian language, as all communication within the work group is conducted in the native language (Bosnian).
