Our Firm Van Campen Liem is a boutique firm with offices in Amsterdam and Luxembourg whose strategy is focused on the alternative asset class. Main Duties and Responsibilities Our Luxembourg team is growing, and we are looking for a Receptionist to join us! Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who enjoys interacting with people, is committed to delivering outstanding client-focused service, and has a proactive, can-do attitude. In this role, you will report to the HR Manager and team up with two other Receptionist/Office Managers. You will be part of a human-sized team in a welcoming, family-like environment. Job Description • Welcome and greet clients and visitors to ensure a positive first impression of the Firm. • Respond to queries and requests from internal and external clients, visitors, and suppliers at all levels. • Answer and forward incoming phone calls, provide information or send messages when necessary. • Organize couriers, send regular and registered mail, open post, and forward it to relevant departments in a confidential and professional manner. • Arrange taxis for clients and staff as needed. • Assist with travel bookings and event preparations as required. • Liaise with vendors and monitor their services to ensure quality (e.g., cleaning, vending machines, plant services, coffee services, etc.) • Book and prepare meeting rooms, arrange furniture as required, and assist with audio-visual setup. • Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception area, lobby, client spaces and meeting rooms • Track and manage office supply inventory and related expenses. • Coordinate catering requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. • Order office supplies and merchandise when necessary. • Perform other duties as assigned. About You The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: • First experience in hospitality or a similar role within a fast-paced corporate environment. • Polite, professional, and friendly demeanour with a well-groomed presentation. • Proficient in Microsoft Office software packages. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Fluency in English, knowledge of French and/or Luxembourgish is an asset. • Highly organized and structured, with a strong customer service orientation. • Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, energy, and a committed approach to work. • Capable of working independently, adapting to different management styles, and remaining calm under pressure.
