Kitchen Coordinator We are seeking a reliable and organised individual to join our team as Kitchen Coordinator. As Kitchen Coordinator you will ensure our community café is well stocked and organised, playing a vital role in keeping things running smoothly. From managing food supplies to maintaining kitchen equipment, you'll ensure everything is in place for a successful week. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all necessary food ingredients and café items are purchased and/or ordered on a weekly/monthly basis. - Manage the inventory, keeping track of what's in stock and what needs to be replenished. - Oversee the shopping or ordering process, ensuring timely restocking while keeping within budget. - Maintain kitchen equipment, arranging for repairs or replacements when needed. - Work with volunteers to ensure the kitchen is organised and ready for service. Skills & Qualities: - Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. - Ability to manage inventory and anticipate future needs. - Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and appliances. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. All ages and nationalities are very welcome in our cozy clubhouse. Many languages are spoken. Come along, join in with activities or just walk in for a talk or a coffee. We are open only on schooldays. Home made lunch is served on Wednesdays.
