We are looking for a Research Assistant Cell Biology for our Cell Biology Team in De Lier. Why is this your job? As a Research Assistant Cell Biology, you will lead and execute R&D activities within defined projects or support plans aimed at effectively delivering quality data and results and thus contributing to the innovation of products and processes and expanding the freedom-to-operate and intellectual property position. The position offers exposure to the state-of-the-art Cell Biology and Tissue Culture technologies applied to different ornamental crops in a competitive and dynamic environment. You will actively take part in a young, and dynamic team; good communication skills and team-player mentality are valued in all our lab personnel. The reporting line is directed to Research Manager Plant Process Innovation. Your tasks and responsibilities: • Efficient and timely execution of routine activities like media preparation, multiplication and maintenance of plants, shipment, etcetera; • Supports the creation of R&D year planning within relevant domain, and execution thereof • Take part in processing different running projects e.g. in vitro culture establishment, plant propagation, and organogenesis; • Following defined SOP procedures; • Occasionally conduct literature reviews and assist in the design of research me...
