Design, implement, test and maintain software components for equipment protection and interlock systems.
Monitor deployed applications and investigate technical issues to improve reliability and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineers and operations teams during commissioning, testing, and operation.
Understand user requirements and contribute to technical decisions for sustainable software solutions.
Strengthen development workflows, automated testing, CI/CD, and explore AI-assisted development tools.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues and students.

Master's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Computing, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

Solid software engineering experience with proficiency in Java and/or C++.
Experience in designing, developing, testing and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle.
Proficiency with version control, automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery.
Strong technical acumen in translating complex requirements into robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
Knowledge of core software design principles and application development.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum), CI/CD, Quality Assurance, and DevOps.
Experience in capturing and analysis of requirements for ICT systems.
Experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of computing systems, including live system monitoring.
Ability to work well in groups and take an active role in team activities.
Ability to express opinions and ideas in a logical and structured manner.
Willingness to share knowledge and coach others for knowledge transfer.
Structured and organized approach to work with the ability to set priorities.
Ability to understand the needs and interests of others.
Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.
