Power BI & Fabric Developer (Data Advisor)

Forward Forever is seeking a hands-on (Senior) Power BI & Fabric Developer to turn data and reporting needs into end-to-end solutions. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of a project, from the underlying data platform to the semantic model and the final reports and apps used by customers. You will work closely with colleagues and customer teams to build solid foundations for their data and AI journeys.

Main Tasks:

• Build production-ready reports and agents from initial sketches.
• Design and develop semantic models.
• Build and configure data platforms, including Fabric lakehouses, warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, pipelines, or Azure SQL.
• Prepare customer data for AI by ensuring it is well-modelled and governed for use with Copilot and other AI solutions.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements:

• A doer's mindset with the ability to take ownership and make independent technical decisions.
• Several years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven experience in building user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Expertise in semantic modelling and DAX.
• Experience transforming and querying data using Power Query (M) and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, warehouses, and pipelines).
• Experience taking solutions from requirements through to production.
• Hands-on experience using AI in daily work (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and understanding AI-ready data models.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data engineering experience in Azure (Azure SQL, Data Factory, or Synapse).
• Knowledge of Power BI lifecycle practices.
• Experience building AI solutions on top of data.
• Understanding of Fabric & Power BI governance, security, and capacity management.
• Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• A continuous learning mindset.
