Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer at Cimcorp, you will work at the heart of modern logistics automation systems, specifically focusing on warehouse management and manufacturing execution platforms. Initially, you will build deep system knowledge under the guidance of a senior mentor, investigating Java- and Oracle-based environments to solve issues from live production sites. Over time, you will progress to participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation for global enterprise clients.

Work tasks

• Analyzing the system codebase (Java) and databases (Oracle) to locate, isolate, and diagnose technical faults.
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents reported via the customer portal.
• Collaborating with internal software developers, customer support specialists, and field engineers.
• Participating in the team's 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• Relevant educational background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Good practical or theoretical understanding of Java programming, including the ability to read, debug, and navigate code.
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Open, curious mindset with proactive communication skills and a willingness to learn continuously.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Finnish.
