Technician (Day Shift)

A growing transport and logistics company in Oostkamp is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance technician with a strong background in electrical maintenance or electromechanics. The role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational performance of the company's infrastructure, including buildings, warehouses, technical installations, and outdoor areas.

Your key duties:

• Perform various repairs, replacements, and maintenance works on the company infrastructure.
• Carry out preventive technical controls on various installations.
• Maintain company grounds and outdoor facilities.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of company vehicles.
• Supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Work in the freezer warehouse when required (thermal clothing provided).

Requirements:

• Education and/or experience in electrical maintenance, electromechanics, or a relevant technical field.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written). Dutch is not required.
• Must already live in Belgium, preferably in the Oostkamp or Bruges area.
• Must have own transportation to the company (no public transport nearby).
• Other technical skills (mechanics, plumbing, HVAC) are a plus but not mandatory; training is provided on the job.
