People & Culture Specialist

Beneq is looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join their growing technology company in Espoo. You will serve as a key point of contact for managers and employees, helping to shape and strengthen the People & Culture function within an international deep-tech environment.

Main Tasks

• Hire to Retire Delivery: Managing contracts, employment documents, onboarding, leaves, offboarding, and retirement processes with accurate record-keeping.
• Working Time Recording: Handling day-to-day administration of the Nepton system.
• HR Data & Reporting: Maintaining and managing employee data.
• Employee Surveys: Managing the full cycle from setup to results and follow-up.
• Recruitment Support: Creating role profiles and job postings, screening, interviewing, candidate communication, and handling offers and pre-employment steps.
• Line Manager Support: Acting as the first point of contact for HR questions regarding working hours, absences, leave, and contract changes.
• Employee Relations: Preparing documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring process compliance.
• Internal Communication: Supporting employee events and internal communications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HR or People & Culture across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment.
• Working knowledge of Finnish employment law and collective agreements (ideally Technology Industry agreements).
• Strong Excel skills for HR data management and reporting.
• Working proficiency in English.
• A service-oriented mindset and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• A proactive "doer" attitude with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
