Operations Manager

KS-Service ApS, a road freight and transport company based in Birkerød, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee and develop daily transport and delivery operations.

About the position
As Operations Manager, you will work closely with management on planning, staffing, and customer relations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating daily transport and delivery operations
• Planning routes, schedules, and the allocation of drivers and vehicles
• Managing drivers, including work schedules, follow-up, and onboarding new employees
• Ensuring compliance with driving and rest period rules, vehicle safety, and working environment standards
• Following up on vehicle maintenance, inspections, and fuel consumption
• Handling contact with customers and partners while monitoring delivery quality
• Monitoring costs, efficiency, and operational targets
• Identifying opportunities for improvement to support company growth

About you
We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has a relevant education in business, logistics, or management
• Has experience in operations, logistics, or transport planning
• Is a clear and motivating leader capable of coordinating a team of drivers
• Has a good understanding of costs, planning, and operational targets
• Works in a structured manner and remains calm during busy periods
• Is service-minded and focused on customer satisfaction
• Can communicate in English (Danish is an advantage)
