(Senior) Software Developer - Warehouse Management Systems

In this role, you will combine hands-on software development with technical ownership, problem solving, and customer-facing technical work within Kasten's evolving software environment. You will contribute to new features and technical solutions from an early stage while gradually increasing ownership of software solutions, their integrations, and the overall technical environment.

Main Tasks:

• Understand how different systems and technologies work together and solve technical challenges across system boundaries (applications, SQL databases, REST or XML integrations, data transfer).
• Work closely with software and engineering specialists, sales and service teams, customer IT departments, ERP consultants, and other partners.
• Perform integrations, technical configurations, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and help customers and partners investigate and resolve issues.
• Share expertise through demonstrations, training, and technical guidance for internal teams and partners in Finland and internationally.
• Contribute to the maintenance and further development of the existing Delphi-based TCPlus solution.
• Utilize approved AI-assisted development tools while remaining responsible for reviewing and testing the produced code.

Requirements:

• At least five years of relevant software development experience.
• Solid hands-on background in software development.
• Experience in system integrations, technical problem solving, or customer-facing technical work is valuable.
• Educational background in IT, software development, or a relevant field (or equivalent professional expertise).
• Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with modern software development.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React is highly relevant (or comparable modern technologies).
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to investigate technical problems across system boundaries and find practical solutions.
• Experience with warehouse management, logistics, or ERP systems is a strong advantage.
• Ability to take technical ownership beyond individual tasks and understand broader integration environments.
• Confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required; Finnish is an advantage.
• Experience with Delphi, Azure, Docker, CI/CD practices, warehouse automation, and AI-assisted tools is beneficial.
