Java Full-stack Developer

We are looking for a Java Full-stack Developer for a public sector project (NDA). The assignment is full-time with a planned long-term duration, starting in December-January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software development for a public sector project
• Application architecture
• Working with container-based solutions
• Working with Virtu authentication
• Working with Suomi.fi authentication, payments, and authorizations
• Development in AWS Cloud environments
• AWS Cloud operations, administration, and monitoring
• Software development using Java and React

Required Experience:

• 5 years of experience as a Software Developer
• Application architecture experience (minimum 500 person-days)
• Experience with container-based solutions
• Experience with Virtu authentication
• Experience with Suomi.fi authentication, payments, and authorizations
• Experience in AWS Cloud environments (development, operations, administration, and monitoring)
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Java and React
• Excellent Finnish language skills

Considered a Plus:

• Geospatial functionality, map views, and location-based integrations
• VMware Tanzu Kubernetes
• eIDAS-level electronic signatures
• Grafana logging and monitoring experience

Language Requirements:

• Finnish: fluent (mandatory)
• English: fluent (mandatory)

Work Conditions:

• Location: Finland (Only for people already living in Finland)
• Work setting: Onsite (Espoo, Helsinki, or Jyväskylä) with office + remote possibility
• Allocation: 100% full-time
• Contract: Direct hire
