Drive the electronics development process from concept definition and schematic design through PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and validation. Design and develop reliable, high-performance, and manufacturable PCB assemblies for complex electronic systems. Develop and integrate EtherCAT and Ethernet interfaces, as well as power electronics operating at voltages up to 100 V. Develop mixed-signal and, where applicable, analog circuits. Ensure compliance with EMC requirements, functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849), and sustainability objectives throughout the development process. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality hardware solutions while adapting to evolving project requirements and technical priorities. Support hardware testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements: At least 5 years of professional experience in electronics development. Comprehensive understanding of the complete electronics development lifecycle, including concept development, schematic design, PCB layout, testing, and EMC validation. Proven expertise in low-voltage electronics below 100 V is mandatory. Strong knowledge of power electronics up to 100 V and mixed-signal circuit design. Experience with EtherCAT and Ethernet interfaces, proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout. Knowledge of functional safety principles and standards, particularly IEC 61508 and ISO 13849. Fluency in English is required, knowledge of German is a plus.
