Electrical Solutions Engineer, Data Centers

In this role, you will support our Data Center team in developing and evaluating electrical solutions for large-scale data center projects. You will help ensure that proposed solutions are technically robust, commercially competitive, and ready for successful execution. You will provide technical input for bids and supplier evaluations while ensuring that solutions reflect Finnish industry practices, utility requirements, and proven construction methods. Your involvement will not end at contract award; you will continue to support project teams throughout delivery, helping to evaluate design changes, resolve technical challenges during construction and commissioning, and ensure that all agreed modifications are accurately reflected in the final project documentation and handover package. You will work closely with solutions sales, suppliers, and site teams, helping bridge the gap between engineering and construction.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Review electrical designs, models, and drawings from a contractor's perspective.
• Assess equipment layouts, cable routing, and installation feasibility.
• Support the coordination of electrical, mechanical, automation, and structural disciplines.
• Review electrical load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selections, and protection concepts.
• Prepare equipment and material take-offs, including cable quantities.
• Support technical tendering, procurement, and supplier evaluation activities.
• Review supplier documentation and coordinate technical clarifications.
• Assist project teams in resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Help ensure that design changes are correctly implemented in project documentation.

We expect you to have:

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution systems and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to review and evaluate technical solutions and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in Finnish is required; English language skills are considered an asset.
