Sheet metal worker

As a sheet metal worker in the DIKSMUIDE area, your responsibilities will include:

• Being flexibly deployed within the sheet metal department according to the needs of the planning;
• Operating and setting up machines for laser cutting, bending and rolling sheet metal;
• Preparing necessary programs and machine settings and checking that the machines are functioning correctly;
• Performing some basic administrative tasks, such as receiving incoming sheets, checking stock and entering the information into the system;
• Ensuring the proper finishing of the parts, including deburring and quality control;
• Independently moving sheets and finished parts using a forklift.

Our client expects you to have:

• Experience in sheet metal processing and preferably experience with several of the following techniques: laser cutting, bending, nesting and rolling;
• A valid forklift certificate;
• Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately;
• Dutch or English (A2 level);
• Completed a technical education (A2 level) in mechanics or metalworking, or have equivalent experience.
