Experienced Pig Farm Employee / Farrowing Department

We are looking for an experienced pig farm employee for a farm in Skjern, Denmark. The position is mainly focused on the farrowing department, so strong practical experience with sows and piglets is required.

• Strong experience from a farrowing department
• At least 1 year of farm management or responsibility experience
• Able to work independently and take responsibility
• Good understanding of sow and piglet care
• Experience with daily farm routines and animal observation
• Driving licence is an advantage, as the position involves travelling between 3 farm locations
• Reliable and flexible
• English communication skills

Main tasks include daily work in the farrowing department, care and observation of sows and piglets, feeding and checking animals, following farm routines and procedures, taking responsibility for assigned areas, supporting the daily management of the farm, and travelling between 3 farm locations.

Employment is a permanent position for the right candidate, starting as soon as possible. The location is Skjern, Denmark. Accommodation is available (for monthly rent). Salary is based on experience, with the possibility of a higher salary for candidates with strong experience and responsibility. There may also be a possibility of a long-term employment contract with increased responsibility.
