Analytics Engineer
About the Role As an AI Expert at Link, you are expected to be a Machine Learning generalist with a startup mindset. You will be working in a diverse team of people with different backgrounds, ranging from our own Robotics and Machine Learning experts to engineers from partner companies. You will provide technical expertise and vision as well as practical implementation of solutions for a broad range of projects including areas such as defence, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. You will be an essential part of Link, actively contributing to our projects from understanding technical feasibility and the necessary methodology, to driving the implementation and ensuring a smooth handover to production. To thrive in this role, we believe that: • You have a strong background in ML (PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field is preferred), enjoy continuously keeping track of the state of the art in AI, and at the same time prioritize pragmatic solutions for real business problems • You have proficiency in the Python programming language, experience working with ML packages; experience with lower-level programming languages, such as C++, is an advantage • You have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas, and are willing to learn about the others: o Optimization Methods, preferably including Contextual Optimization o Optimal Decision Making o Computer Vision o Multimodal Perception o Reliable Generative AI applications and Agentic systems o Graph Learning o Training and fine-tuning Foundation Models for different modalities • You have a passion for working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • You have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership • You have great communication skills and fluency in English About the Company Link is a collaborative platform where leading technology experts and industry professionals jointly work on defining business strategies and implementing disruptive solutions by bringing research breakthroughs and talent to industry.
