To join this exciting new journey, we are now seeking a HSE Officer - a key role at the heart of our growth.
Your key responsabilities will include:
Support a safe, secure start-up and ongoing operations, ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements are addressed from day one
Conduct workplace risk assessments, environmental reviews, and task-specific risk evaluations for site activities, projects, and changes in operations
Provide daily HSE guidance to managers, supervisors, employees, and contractors, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements
Participate in project reviews and site modifications to proactively identify and control HSE risks
Assist operational teams in developing safe ways of working, operating procedures, and effective risk mitigation plans
Lead and participate in regular workplace inspections, behavioural safety observations, and HSE compliance audits
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are taken
Support emergency preparedness, drills, and crisis management activities across the site
Maintain accurate, up-to-date HSE records, permits, and documentation to comply with all regulatory and company standards
Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO-based HSE management systems
Ensure contractors and service providers meet all HSE site requirements, including documentation review, permit-to-work coordination, and performance monitoring
Develop, organise, and deliver HSE training, induction, and awareness campaigns to promote a proactive safety culture
Support environmental compliance, waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives for continuous environmental improvement
Monitor performance, analyse data, produce HSE dashboards and KPIs, and provide management reports to drive decision-making
