Jalsa er en veletableret indisk restaurant med restauranter i både Aalborg og Randers. Vores restaurant i Aalborg har opbygget en stærk position og et godt omdømme blandt vores gæster, og vi oplever fortsat stor efterspørgsel. Derfor ønsker vi nu at styrke vores køkkenteam med endnu en erfaren kok, som har solid erfaring med autentisk indisk madlavning.
Arbejdsopgaver
Som kok bliver du en vigtig del af den daglige drift i køkkenet. Dine arbejdsopgaver vil blandt andet være:
Tilberedning og præsentation af autentiske indiske retter
Tilberedning af curryretter, tandoorretter, naan og andre traditionelle indiske specialiteter
Arbejde med traditionelle indiske krydderier, marinader, saucer og tilberedningsteknikker
Forberedelse og produktion til den daglige restaurantdrift
Sikring af ensartet kvalitet, smag og præsentation
Overholdelse af regler og procedurer vedrørende hygiejne og fødevaresikkerhed
Lagerstyring og kontrol af råvarer
Samarbejde med køkkenchef, ledelse og øvrige medarbejdere
Bidrage til oplæring af nye medarbejdere samt udvikling og kvalitetssikring af vores retter
Vi forventer, at du
Har dokumenteret professionel erfaring som kok
Har solid erfaring med autentisk indisk madlavning
Har erfaring med tandoorovn og traditionelle indiske curryretter
Har godt kendskab til indiske krydderier, marinader og traditionelle tilberedningsmetoder
Kan arbejde selvstændigt og effektivt i et travlt restaurantkøkken
Er kvalitetsbevidst, stabil, ansvarsfuld og samarbejdsvillig
Kan bevare overblikket i travle perioder
Er fleksibel med hensyn til arbejdstider og kan arbejde både hverdage, aftener og weekender
Kan kommunikere på engelsk. Kendskab til dansk er en fordel, men ikke et krav.

Jalsa Indian Restaurant Aalborg is looking for an experienced chef specializing in authentic Indian cuisine
Jalsa Indian Restaurant Aalborg is looking for a skilled and experienced chef to join our established kitchen team.
Jalsa is a well-established Indian restaurant with locations in both Aalborg and Randers. Our Aalborg restaurant has built a strong position and a good reputation among our guests, and we continue to experience high demand. We are therefore looking to strengthen our kitchen team with another experienced chef who has solid professional experience in authentic Indian cuisine.
Responsibilities
As a chef, you will be an important part of the daily kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and presenting authentic Indian dishes
Preparing curries, tandoor dishes, naan and other traditional Indian specialties
Working with traditional Indian spices, marinades, sauces and cooking techniques
Preparation and production for the daily restaurant operation
Ensuring consistent quality, taste and presentation
Following procedures and regulations regarding hygiene and food safety
Stock management and control of ingredients
Cooperating with the head chef, management and other team members
Assisting with training new kitchen employees and contributing to the development and quality control of our dishes
We expect that you
Have documented professional experience as a chef
Have solid experience with authentic Indian cuisine
Have experience working with a tandoor oven and traditional Indian curry dishes
Have good knowledge of Indian spices, marinades and traditional cooking techniques
Are able to work independently and efficiently in a busy restaurant kitchen
Are quality-conscious, reliable, responsible and cooperative
Are able to stay organized and focused during busy periods
Are flexible regarding working hours and able to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
Are able to communicate in English. Knowledge of Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
