Java Developer

Work tasks: What you'll do • Lead the technical audit of Uland's Java backend and ReactJS/VueJS frontend — assess architecture, security, data structure compliance, and code quality • Document findings and produce a structured handover report • Architect and build the Gen MAX backend platform in Java (Spring Boot) • Build and maintain the admin/back-office frontend in VueJS • Own the OCPP integration layer — device registration, command routing, telemetry • Define and enforce API contracts between the backend and mobile app • Set up CI/CD, environments, and deployment pipeline • Mentor the Middle fullstack developer We offer: Full remote and flexible hours: Work from anywhere that suits you — we focus on results and active participation in key sync meetings. Other requirements: What we're looking for • 6+ years of backend development experience, primarily Java • Strong Spring Boot — REST APIs, security, data access (JPA/Hibernate), Spring Security, JWT authentication, MyBatis-Plus, MySQL and Redis. • Experience with RabbitMQ • Experience with MQTT/WebSocket communication • Experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI • Experience with MinIO or object storage • Frontend proficiency in VueJS (or React, willing to move to Vue) • PostgreSQL or similar relational DB — schema design, migrations, query optimisation • Experience with OCPP 1.6 / 2.0 or similar device communication protocols • Solid understanding of security practices — auth, RBAC, GDPR/PIPEDA compliance • Experience auditing and taking over legacy codebases • Strong written English — documentation is part of the job Option to work from home: Yes Working load, shifts: 50%
