VAT & Accounting Specialist

Work tasks: We are looking for a precise, responsible and detail-oriented person to join our team as a VAT & Accounting Specialist. The company provides services to international aviation companies, therefore fluency in English is mandatory for successful performance in this role. In this role, your main responsibilities will include VAT-related accounting tasks across several countries, including EE, LT, DK, NO, SE, FI, GE and UK. Your main tasks will include: - Preparing VAT declarations for different countries - VAT reconciliation and corrections - Providing data and communicating with accounting firms regarding income tax filing in countries where the company has branches or sales offices - Supporting general accounting processes - Working with accounting data, reports and internal systems This role could be a good fit for you if you are accurate, responsible and detail-oriented. You enjoy working independently, are comfortable working with numbers and reports, and can keep deadlines even when several tasks need attention at the same time. We expect you to have: - Fluency in English - Good Excel skills - Previous experience with accounting and VAT-related tasks - Good understanding of VAT declarations, reconciliations and corrections - Experience working with accounting or ERP systems - Strong attention to detail - A responsible and organised working style - Willingness to learn and understand specific business processes Experience with international VAT reporting and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage.
