Packers Herring - Day Shift - Evergem

We are a leading fish processing company located in Evergem, specializing in packaging delicious herring! To strengthen our production team, we are looking for enthusiastic packers who want to grow with us! Responsibilities: Placing herring into jars/buckets Jars/buckets pass through the machine, automatically receiving a lid, vinegar/onions, and a sticker At the end of the production line, jars/buckets are packed into cardboard boxes and sorted onto pallets Ensuring the workspace is clean and tidy at the end of the day; Working Hours: Day shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Fridays: 6:00 AM - 12:15 PM What do we expect from you? Be flexible to switch workplaces if necessary. It is important that you can count/read/write + check dates. You can easily get to Evergem with your own transport (car, bicycle, moped, scooter). You have an affinity with the food industry and are willing to work in a refrigerated environment (5-6 degrees). You have an eye for detail and work accurately. Hygiene and food safety are of paramount importance to you. You do NOT wear piercings,makeup, excessive perfume/deodorant, nail polish, henna, false eyelashes, jewelry, etc. You understand that eating, chewing gum, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the production area. You are a team player and can work well with colleagues. You speak Dutch, English, or French. Experience in a similar position is a plus, but not a requirement.
