Key responsibilities This is a practical, broad job where fish farming and processing form the core. The role includes, among other things: Feeding, tending and monitoring the fish in sea cages Harvesting, slaughtering and processing of fish Cleaning, sanitation and hygiene work at the facility Sampling and follow-up of water quality (including as background data for environmental and permit work) Ongoing pest control Monitoring and follow-up of fish health Other tasks as they arise in a small business As the business is small and varied, the work is broad – you can expect to help out wherever needed. Working hours vary with the season – some periods involve more work, others less, and weekend work may occur, particularly during the high season. Working hours are evened out over the year with a fixed monthly salary. Holiday leave is mainly scheduled during the low season.
