MIG/MAG Welder

We are looking for MIG/MAG welders for shipbuilding projects in Finland.

Main duties include:

• Welding of ship sections and hull structures

• Welding and assembly of metal constructions

• Work at shipyards and shipbuilding facilities

• Participation in ship and icebreaker construction projects

Project Locations

• Uusikaupunki, Finland

• Pori (Mäntyluoto), Finland

• Turku (Meyer Shipyard), Finland

Required Skills and Competencies

• Previous experience as MIG/MAG welder

• Ability to work with metal structures and ship sections

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Responsibility and readiness for physical work

Mandatory Requirements (Finland Work Compliance)

• Valid right to work in Finland (residence permit / visa / EU citizenship)

• Valid Työturvallisuuskortti is an advantage

• Welding certificates are welcome but not mandatory

Required Language Skills

• Russian

Other languages are not required.

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week

• Overtime possible according to project needs

Duration of Employment:

• Permanent employment contract (toistaiseksi voimassa oleva)

• Employment begins: ASAP

Salary: 15–17 €/hour
