Field assistant. On-site training provided! Work tasks: Archaeological excavation assistance (or: Fieldwork assistant roles) Earthworks: Removing soil using shovels and pickaxes according to the archaeologist's instructions. Sifting (or Screening): Searching for artifacts and find material from the excavated soil. Cleaning: Carefully uncovering archaeological structures (walls, ovens, burials) using trowels and brushes.
