Slaughter Operatives Tican Fresh Meat A/S, Brørup and Thisted
TFM Transport A/S is looking for an experienced and responsible driver to transport live pigs. This position is for drivers with good experience who thrive on responsibility, long working days and a focus on animal welfare. Requirements for the position - Minimum 3-4 years of experience driving pigs, preferably to slaughterhouses. - Valid animal competency certificate - Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) licence, EU qualification certificate and driver’s licence - English speaking and preferably Danish speaking - Responsible and stable driver with a focus on animal welfare - A valid work and residence permit is required. Working hours Working hours will typically be placed Monday to Friday between approximately 08:00 - 22:00. Sometimes there may be work on Saturdays. Depart from Brørup, where the lorry can be parked at the slaughterhouse. Here you have access to toilet and shower facilities. The driver is expected to live in the vehicle. You can expect 1-2 trips per day. All driving is in Denmark. Equipment - Lorry: Scania or Mercedes (approx. 1 year old) - Trailer: Pezzaiolli, 3-axle (approx. 1 year old) Salary and employment conditions Salary and other terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between ATL, 3F and and the Danish Industry.
