Assistant Manager to Massimo Dutti Copenhagen

About the Role

We are looking for a strong and structured Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in driving sales, team performance, and operational excellence in our Massimo Dutti store in Copenhagen.

This role requires a proactive leader with a commercial mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities - Product & Commercial Focus

• Support the General Manager in managing all sections to achieve sales targets.
• Ensure high standards of product presentation and visual merchandising.
• Analyze product performance and implement actions to improve results.
• Execute commercial actions based on reports.
• Maintain communication with HQ and local commercial team.

Operations & Processes

• Support stockroom management and merchandise flow.
• Plan and organize daily operations to maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and omnichannel processes.
• Supervise store technology.
• Lead new projects and updates.
• Minimize shrinkage and manage action plans.

Customer Experience

• Ensure excellent customer service standards.
• Lead by example on the shop floor.
• Handle customer issues effectively.

People & Leadership

• Support scheduling and coverage.
• Train and develop team members.
• Provide continuous feedback.
• Identify talent and support succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.

Requirements

Experience:

• 3–4 years in a leadership retail role.
• Strong understanding of sales KPIs.
