Qualification requirements Qualification requirements are determined according to Decree 986/1998 (sections 10, 10a and 12). The teacher must have a master´s degree, pedagogical studies for teachers 60 ECTS, and 120 ECTS credits in the subject taught. If you have completed your masters degree outside Finland, you may need a degree recognition decision from the Finnish National Agency of Education.
