Nanny

For a lovely family in Schilde with two cheerful 6-year-old children, I am looking for a live-in nanny. Someone who would enjoy being part of daily family life, likes bringing structure, participating in the morning and evening routines, and who would happily become a familiar and trusted presence for the children. Your responsibilities include: Preparing the children for school in the morning. Walking the children to school (a 4-minute walk). After drop-off: tidying the kitchen, organizing the children’s rooms and play area, and doing light household tasks related to the children. Picking the children up after school. Supporting the evening routine and getting them ready for bed. Occasionally babysitting in the evening when the parents are out (the children will already be asleep). On weekends, the parents usually take care of the children themselves, but you are always welcome to join in on fun outings. Those who wish to work more than 20 hours per week can take on additional household tasks such as ironing, cleaning, and laundry. You are willing to work as a live-in nanny and feel comfortable in a family environment. You have a genuine love for children and are comfortable working with primary school-aged kids. You are reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. You speak Dutch or English fluently. You are available for a long-term position. You are flexible and willing to babysit occasionally in the evenings and sometimes on weekends. Experience as a nanny, babysitter, or in childcare is a plus, but motivation and maturity are equally important.
