The main tasks of the role include: - Act as the main HR contact for colleagues in Finland. - Support the day-to-day operation of the business in all HR related administration. - Support managers with recruitment – proof reading JDs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, administration of the recruitment system ensuring accuracy. - Manage onboarding and offboarding processes. - Prepare all administrative documents related to people management: contracts, amendments, leaver documents, etc. - Maintain up-to-date records for each colleague, including time/attendance reports. - Guide our line managers to manage in the UTAC way. - Promote the UTAC culture and values (Integrity, Expertise, and Innovation). - Support payroll activity each month. - Manage HR related payables in AP-system (Maestro NG) - Manage the working time monitoring system (Deltabit) - Provide sickness absence reports for the group on a monthly basis, plus any ad hoc requests. - Perform other duties as assigned. The HR Assistant works in a Finnish speaking work environment but reports to a manager in the UK so both Finnish and English language skills are crucial. The role may also be part-time depending on the candidate's wishes. While some remote work is allowed, the role is based predominantly at the Ivalo office.
