Do you want to work in a children's house where norming, present management and community create the framework for a safe and developing children's life? Then Blågårdens Børnehus might be your next workplace. We are looking for one pedagogue for a permanent position of 33–37 hours per week, starting on 1 July. You will be part of a team of skilled and committed colleagues, where professional reflection, responsibility and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. About Blågårdens Børnehus Blågårdens Børnehus is an independent institution with 70 children divided into four rooms: two nursery groups with 13 children and two kindergarten groups with 21 children. All rooms are standardized with four adults, and we strive to always have at least two trained educators attached to each room. The norm gives us the opportunity to work in small groups and create time for contemplation, relationships and professional quality. We are a committed staff group consisting of educators, pedagogical assistants, pedagogical assistants, kitchen staff, temps and both sous chef and manager. Together, we form a children's house with a high level of professionalism, management close to everyday life and a strong collegial community characterized by trust, openness and cooperation. The children's house is located in a large, green and quiet courtyard with a beautiful playground in a district in rapid development. The house contains a long pedagogical tradition, as Denmark's first teacher training college was previously housed here – in other words, the pedagogy is a natural part of the house's DNA. Our pedagogical approach At Blågårdens Børnehus, we see care, relationships and language as the foundation for a good children's life. We believe that close, trusting and respectful parental cooperation is the first and most important step towards a safe and meaningful institutional life. Therefore, we meet both children and parents with openness, curiosity and appreciation and emphasize an ongoing and positive dialogue. We have a fundamentally positive and resource-oriented approach to both the children and everyday life. We meet the children where they are and work on the basis of their strengths and perspectives. Love is a fundamental value in our pedagogical practice, because security, presence and warm relationships are prerequisites for children's well-being, development and learning. When the children feel seen, met and loved, a safe space is created where they dare to explore, play and develop. We work in a structured and targeted manner based on professional observations, small groups of children and the strengthened pedagogical curriculum. The good norm makes room for presence, immersion and quality in the pedagogical work. Everyday life includes play, reading, creative activities, trips out of the house, library visits and an active outdoor life all year round on our green and quiet playground. We are looking for a pedagogue who: Meets children, parents and colleagues with recognition, care and calm Actively contributes to classroom meetings, department meetings and pedagogical days Has experience with or interest in structured pedagogical work, including action plans and evaluation Has knowledge of the strengthened pedagogical curriculum and wants to put it into practice Is strong in parental cooperation and sees the parents as key players in the child's life Takes responsibility and contributes positively to the community Thrives on and appreciates outdoor life all year round Wants to be part of a work community where we like to be together – even outside working hours at times We offer weekly room meetings, department meetings, three annual staff days and a working environment characterized by professionalism, commitment and good collegial cooperation.
