As a production manager, you ensure the smooth running of our production environment. You coordinate the daily operations, manage the team and facilitate smooth and open collaboration between the production team and other departments. With your eye for safety, quality and people-oriented leadership, you ensure a smoothly running production and a strong team spirit. Your responsibilities As a production manager, you are responsible for everything that is going on in and around the production environment. Daily planning and team coordination: youensure a clear division of tasks and clear roles within the team, plan and organize the work and ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available to ensure that the production activities (such as labeling and packaging) run smoothly. People management: managing, motivating, and helping your team of production workers grow. You are responsible for creating a safe and pleasant team atmosphere, act as a confidential advisor and help mediate if necessary. Safety, cleanliness and GMP: ensuring a safe, orderly and tidy working environment, organising regular maintenance and timely repairs, ensuring correct registration of all production activities and ensuring that GMP guidelines are followed. Optimization & improvement: you support and initiate optimization projects and help to structurally raise the production department to a higher level. Communication and coordination: you ensure a smooth exchange of information between the production team and other departments, and you keep the team informed of ongoing projects, priorities and the state of affairs. What we are looking for At least 3 years of proven experience in a managerial role in a packaging or production environment Enthusiastic, proactive mindset You are good at problem-solving Strong People management skills and communication skills Flexible and stress-resistant Good knowledge of Dutch (written and spoken) and English, knowledge of French is an added value Familiar with the most common IT applications
