We are looking for a UNIVERSITY INTERN for the National Library's special collections for a three-month fixed-term employment relationship between 1.5.-30.9.2026.About the position As a university intern, you will work with the National Library's special collections under supervision. The diverse and valuable special collection has mainly consisted of materials received as donations and legal deposit copies in the 19th century, as well as acquisitions made in the 20th century. Your job consists of collection work under the guidance of a collection manager: cataloguing, protection, organization and customer service tasks in the special collections reading room. The Special Collections Reading Room is intended for researchers who use the library's oldest and unique material. About you The prerequisites for working in the Special Collection are studies in the humanities and extensive language skills. In addition to the national languages, knowledge of German, French, Italian or Latin is an advantage. We also hope that the intern has an interest in the history of education and education.
