The wellbeing services county of North Karelia – Siun sote is responsible for public social and health care, rescue services and environmental health care services for North Karelian residents in 13 municipalities. Fixed-term positions are open for applications in Siun sote by 15 March 2026, for physicians specialising in general medicine The clinic places for physicians specialising in general medicine (YLE) in the clinic placements of other clinical specialties at the North Karelia Central Hospital will be applied for centrally for 2027. This is a supplementary call. - 3 position templates, YLE specializing students can wish for placement in all clinics according to their training needs. The positions are not attached to a specific clinic, the newcomer can wish for specialties and the wishes are fulfilled as much as possible (depends on e.g. the possibility of training in the specialty at the desired time). - Length of the period 3-6 months Uniform criteria are applied in the allocation of clinic periods in the KUH ERVA area, which are: - Right to study at UEF or at a health centre in the administrative area - Stage of studies; preferably half of the specialisation completed - Work periods completed by the beginning of the application period will be accepted for calculation - Required documents: right to study, short CV, certificate of completion of the examination- Completion of the examination (examination valid for 4 years) - (no priority based on the number of applications) The eligibility requirement is a licence or a licence to practise as a doctor in accordance with section 4 of the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). The fixed-term position will be filled according to agreement. A fixed-term position may have a probationary period. We require vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. Siun sote's workplaces are smoke-free. We follow the doctor's agreement.
