Elintarviketyöntekijä
The animal caretaker / farm worker position at Torikka Farm mainly focuses on working with laying hens. Most of the working time is spent in the poultry house, ensuring daily operations and animal welfare. Daily tasks include monitoring animal welfare and recording observations, collecting and sorting eggs, and maintaining cleanliness of the facilities and equipment. Feeding, monitoring water supply, and overseeing the general condition of the poultry house are also part of the responsibilities. The role also includes operating tractors and other agricultural machinery, as well as maintenance and repair work and general upkeep of farm equipment. The work is physical and requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to work independently. Communication skills in Finnish or English are required.
