Hybrid (on-site in Klagenfurt), Full-time Your Responsibilities: - Design and implement a secure IoT application on an MCU that collects, buffers and transmits human biosignal data to host devices. - Ensure data security and integrity over a BLE connection. - Develop, debug and test embedded software, including unit and integration tests with clear documentation of results. - Create clear technical documentation and manuals for development, testing and production. - Support the backend part of data communication (e.g. REST APIs, cloud data transfer). - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, software, clinical and regulatory to align technical solutions, milestones and timelines. Your Profile: - technical college (e.g. HTL) with relevant work experience in embedded systems, experience in SW development according to EN 62304 is a plus - Strong understanding of microcontroller programming and debugging (STM32) on bare-metal or preferably RTOS-based applications. - Proficiency in programming C/C++. Experience with SPI, I2C, BLE. Knowledge of backend development (REST) is a plus. - Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and experimental designs. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team. - Fluent in English (working language).
