We are looking for a person responsible for Internal/external Logistics

At Finmatec Oy, internal logistics refers to all material flows to our production in our machine and project operations. We purchase laser-cut and bent stainless steel parts from subcontractors and, depending on the scope of delivery, use dozens to hundreds of different components in each delivery. As a logistics manager, you are responsible for receiving material flows, quality control, inventory management and the flow of materials in production. The task also includes monitoring purchase deliveries, where the goal is always to get materials and components to our production at the right time according the JIT method (Just In Time). External logistics involves arranging both purchase and sales shipments and is a natural part of daily routines. Sales shipments often require planning of packaging and loading, as a single project delivery can consist of several trucks. Arrangement of special transports is also part of our business. You are a sociable person who enjoys working with people. Your knowledge of Finnish is at a very good level, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English and Swedish is considered an asset. You have a few years of work experience, but above all a positive attitude. The position does not require technical education, but basic technical understanding is a significant advantage. As a systematic and organized person, you can constantly keep our production updated with the current status of materials and components. You are self-initiative and have good basic knowledge of IT and can communicate easily in speech and writing. We use the web-based ERP system Netbaron and MS Office applications. Sounds interesting?
