Astotec Automotive is a rapidly growing automotive supplier with ~€170M annual sales and ~1200 employees. Astotec Automotive aims to protect passenger and pedestrian lives through providing pyrotechnical solutions for automotive safety systems. Coming from a history in pyrotechnics, Astotec Automotive started serving international OEMs in 1993 with occupant protection products. The company is now collaborating with a wide range of international OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, after a tremendously successful growth phase in the recent years. 1 Director Group Quality (M/F/D) Your Role * You will further develop a global quality organization for a growing automotive supplier (4 plants in Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria and China) * You will manage the company's direct and indirect quality metrics and all related quality processes * You will handle quality issues closely with customers, ensuring timely resolution and strong customer relationships * You will develop and shape the company's quality strategy, aligning key stakeholders (e.g., Product realization, Supply chain and Product management, Purchasing) * You will lead the quality team and foster cross-functional collaboration and transparency * You will drive joint initiatives (e.g., Cost of Quality) with Product realization, Product management and Purchasing * You will oversee tactical and operational implementation of the quality assurance strategy * You will prepare and conduct audits and assessments with quality partners Your Profile * University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field (Master's preferred) * Deep and up-to-date knowledge of the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards * Experience working with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in a global manufacturing environment * 5-10 years of progressive experience in leading quality teams, preferably in the automotive or safety environment * Proven track record in leading quality organizations and driving cross-functional quality initiatives * Strong background in customer quality management, including complaint handling and resolution * Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams across Product realization, Product management and Purchasing and experience in audit processes * Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and strong business acumen * High resilience and performance orientation in dynamic, high-pressure environments * Ability to drive excellent results in both digital und low-tech environments and reach results independently * Excellent communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken) What we offer * Work in a rapidly growing and highly successful business environment * Having real-life impact by shaping the quality landscape of Astotec Automotive * Having a high sphere of influence and design freedom * Play a major role in the company's success story with leading on of the three key success functions * Collaborating closely with the companies managing directors * A very attractive compensation model * Monthly gross salary starting at €5.804,36, with the potential for a higher amount depending on your qualifications and experience * A company car is provided as part of this role * Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work We look forward to receiving your application directly on our homepage: https://www.astotec.com/job/ Astotec Automotive GmbH Leobersdorfer Straße 31-33, 2552 Hirtenberg / Austria Nicolas Steinberger Phone: +43 664 780 262 84 Das Mindestentgelt für die Stelle als Director Group Quality (M/F/D) beträgt 5.804,36 EUR brutto pro Monat auf Basis Vollzeitbeschäftigung.
