Restaurant Worker
As a Café / Restaurant Worker, youll be part of the daily operation of our café/bakery. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, a service mindset, and reliability matter. Main tasks (not limited to these) - Customer service & front-of-house: Welcoming customers, taking orders, handling payments Serving coffee, pastries, and bakery products efficiently Keeping the counter, seating area, and product displays tidy and attractive - Daily café operations: Opening and closing routines Restocking service areas (cups, milk, takeaway items, etc.) Maintaining cleanliness throughout the day Cleaning equipment (including daily coffee machine cleaning) - Light kitchen / team support: Supporting the kitchen team during busy hours Assisting with simple food prep and plating (e.g., toasts, porridge, light dishes) Helping with prep work, cleaning, and organization when needed - If you have a driving license (big plus) Delivering fresh products from the main production site to the café before opening (as needed). - Working hours Full-time: minimum 37.5 hours/week Shift-based schedule; days off vary depending on shifts Work includes weekends and public holidays as part of normal operations Requirements Hygiene pass (Hygieniapassi) – required Must live and be located in Helsinki Must be eligible for palkkatuki & Helsinki-lisä Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help with varied tasks Driving license = big plus (especially for morning deliveries)
