You're orchestrating AI agents while building enterprise-grade software. What you'll build: * Multi-agent orchestration layer (Claude, GPT, specialized finance models) * Integration pipelines with enterprise finance systems (SAP, Dynamics, Excel) * AI workflows for variance analysis, month-end close, financial reporting * Scaling and improving technical architecture and processes (testing, QA, security) What You Need to Bring Non-Negotiables: * Experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar) * Strong full-stack engineering (Nextjs & Python / Go preferred, but we care about thinking, not languages) * Profound security and data governance understanding * Ability to solve complex problems with clean, simple solutions * You've shipped products to production before * Based in Vienna or someday willing to relocate (2-3 days/week in office) Strong Plus: * Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Terraform (or similar) * Experience with finance/ERP systems or complex data integrations * B2B SaaS experience (you understand enterprise requirements) * You've used Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools * Interest in finance/accounting (or willingness to learn) Tech Stack (your input matters): * AI: Claude, GPT, Gemini * Backend: Python, FastAPI * Orchestration: LangGraph or similar * Infrastructure: Cloud-native, containerized * Integrations: SAP APIs, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel automation What You'll Get Compensation: * Minimum salary: €60.000 gross/year, with significant overpayment based on qualifications and experience * Founding team equity package * Higher compensation possible for freelancers (Austria or international) Learning: * Direct collaboration with Miro (10+ years engineering in finance) * Build AI agent systems from scratch, not maintain legacy code * Work directly with design partners (CFOs, finance teams) * Shape product and technical architecture decisions Growth: * Founding Engineer = future VP path * Hire and lead your own engineering team as we scale * Own the entire technical vision You're Our Person If: * You're obsessed with AI agents and LLM orchestration * You've built something complex that actually works in production * You get excited about solving hard technical problems in "boring" industries * You can explain technical concepts to non-technical people (CFOs, finance teams) * When you see a problem, you build a solution instead of waiting for direction * You believe AI will fundamentally change how software is built How to Apply https://northscope.notion.site/faeng012026 Das Mindestentgelt für die Stelle als Founding AI Engineer (m/w/d) beträgt 60.000,00 EUR brutto pro Jahr auf Basis Vollzeitbeschäftigung.
