Work tasks: Printing & Production • Operate, maintain, and calibrate FDM and SLA 3D printers • Prepare print files using slicing software (e.g. PreForm, Bambu Studio, Lychee) • Select appropriate materials, print settings, and orientations for optimal results • Manage multiple print jobs and prioritize production schedules • Management of departmental materials and participation in stock takes • Learning of all printing technologies used in the company • Replacing others during vacations and absences (including other production areas) Design review & File Preparation • Review and optimize 3D models (STL/STEP) for printability • Model and file creation if and when needed • Offer Management quotations for client inquiries • Make minor adjustments to print files to improve strength, surface quality, or accuracy • Identify and resolve issues such as warping, layer separation, and support failures Post-Processing • Perform post-processing tasks including: o Support removal o Washing and curing (SLA) o Sanding, finishing, and minor assembly • Ensure printed parts meet dimensional and surface quality requirements Quality Control & Documentation • Inspect printed parts for defects and tolerances • Maintain records of print parameters, materials used, and outcomes • Recommend process improvements to reduce waste and improve consistency • Participation in implementation and improvement of IMS (integrated management system) Maintenance & Safety • Create maintenance and other department documentation in relation to COO requests • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers. Managing tickets and online technical support where needed • Handle resins, filaments, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace We offer: Motivating salary according to workload and tasks. Other requirements: Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience with FDM and SLA 3D printing • Strong understanding of: o Print settings and material behavior o Supports, orientations, and tolerances • Experience with common materials: o FDM: PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, TPU o SLA: Standard, Tough, Flexible, Engineering resins • Familiarity with CAD and slicing software • Can read and understand technical drawings • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Background in engineering, product design, or manufacturing • Experience with printer brands such as Bambu, Formlabs • Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles • Experience working in a production or prototyping environment Soft Skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects • Clear communication with designers, engineers, or customers • Continuous improvement mindset • Fluency in Estonian and/or English required Working Conditions • Hands-on workshop or lab environment • Meeting tight deadlines is a requirement of the job • Occasional lifting and handling of equipment and materials • Exposure to resins, solvents, and heated components (with safety controls) Option to work from home: No
