Vander Plaetsen Construct is a fast-growing metal construction company from Assenede, active in industrial assembly and construction work. To strengthen our growing organization, we are looking for a experienced foreman for our field service. As a foreman, you take on an important managerial role and manage a team of mechanics. You are responsible for the planning and organization of the daily activities, and you carefully follow up on orders and material supply. In addition, you will actively participate on the shop floor in welding and assembling both large and smaller custom metal constructions. Your tasks Leading and coaching your team Drawing up and following up on the work schedule, following up on orders and materials Participating in welding and assembly of various metal constructions Bending and cutting metal sheets, reading and applying technical plans What do you bring? At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar position A good knowledge of electrode and semi-automatic welding Experience with assembling, bending and cutting metal structures Technical insight and skill in reading plans Strong leadership qualities and communication skills Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English In possession of driving license B
