Repairman to M/S Finlandia

Jobs on the horizon- Welcome to Eckerö Line! We are currently seeking a Repairman to join the Engine Department of M/S Finlandia. This is a permanent position, starting in March 2026 or as agreed. About the Role: As a Repairman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vessels technical equipment, ensuring everything remains in excellent working condition. On board M/S Finlandia, the role rotates after each shift between Engine Repairman, Sanitary Repairman, and Interior Fitter duties. We are looking for a positive, service-oriented professional with strong language and technical skills. The working language onboard is English; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an asset. M/S Finlandia sails under the Finnish flag on the Helsinki–Tallinn route. The position follows a 1:1 rotation schedule. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: -Strong problem-solving skills -The ability to work independently and take initiative -Hands-on technical expertise, particularly in welding and lathe operation We are seeking a team member with relevant qualifications and experience, a proactive approach to safety and environmental standards, and a positive attitude.
