Engineering Job Opportunity in Germany Our client is a leading global manufacturer of building materials with over 220 production sites and more than 42.500 employees, generating annual sales of over €10 billion. The Engineering division at the headquarter in the Wuerzburg area /Germany manages the planning and construction of plants at global locations. Due to further growth the position is newly created. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conceptual design, project planning, programming and visualisation of control technology for high-performance systems and machines in international greenfield and brownfield projects - Responsibility for software implementations in PLC and SCADA programmes (S7 TIA Portal, WinCC Unified) during on-site commissioning - Contact with component suppliers, site management and technicians - Internal interface to electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and process engineering - Global travel of approximately 40–45%, with temporary assignments of up to three months - You will be part of a team focused on process development, commissioning, and plant deploym REQUIREMENTS: - A degree in automation, electrical engineering or computer science - alternatively a master craftsman or technician qualification - Ideally at least 2 years of experience in comparable tasks and comprehensive PLC knowledge (TIA Portal) - Familiarity with SCADA software and confidence in reading flowcharts and circuit diagrams - Fluent in English; intermediate German language skills - You are committed, work independently and in a structured manner - you can organise yourself independently on construction sites, are physically resilient and having team spirit - You are willing to travel globally and are flexible for worldwide assignments lasting several weeks WHAT OUR CLIENT OFFERS: - A comprehensive range of tasks and promotion of individual potential as part of further training programmes - Permanent employment contract in a market-leading and economically secure family business - A collegial, team-oriented, and constructive work culture at all levels - Remuneration in line with the market and performance - 30 days of vacation, plus additional special leave for certain occasions - Flexitime arrangements with options for remote work and flexible office hours - Employee offers relating to sport, health and culture
