As a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER PROCESS AUTOMATION, you will be responsible for expanding them customer base and driving sales of automation solutions, with a focus on automated valves, measuring, and control equipment. You will develop long-term relationships with end users, engineering firms, OEMs, and installers in the Wallonia and Luxembourg region. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales (70%) Identify and visit new prospects and partners Maintain market presence through regular customer visits (end users, planners, OEMs, installers) Attend trade fairs and industry-related events Manage industrial projects both technically and commercially Promote new products and apply the full GF product range (including automation, customization, services) Customer Training (10%) Mainly theoretical sessions, with occasional hands-on training Administrative & Strategic Tasks (20%) Create visit reports, reference cases, and follow up on sales leads Report monthly highlights, market trends, competitor behavior, and product gaps Analyze existing product portfolio and suggest suitable 3rd party products in collaboration with Product Management Are you excited to join this high-valued international company? Bachelor or master degree in (bio)chemistry, electromechanics, environmental technology, or equivalent through experience Strong knowledge of process automation and control systems is a major advantage Knowledge of valve systems, pipe connectors, and related components or one of them is good enough so we can train you on the other. Knowledge of HVAC or process cooling applications is an advantage Excellent networking and relationship-building skills in a complex market Self-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented Language skills: Fluent in French and English.
