Headit is looking for a motivated Sales Manager – Germany / Austria / Switzerland for a renowned furniture brand! Where will you be working? You’ll join an international company that has been designing premium furniture and interior collections for over 25 years. With clients across Europe and beyond, the focus lies on quality and timeless design. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), actively building and maintaining relationships with retailers and partners. You’ll combine office work with client visits and prospecting, and will travel abroad approximately one week per month. You’ll work partly from the headquarters in Belgium and partly in the field, using both car and air travel to visit clients. What are your responsibilities as Sales Manager? Business development: Actively prospecting and developing new partnerships in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; Account management: Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships in the retail sector; Customer follow-up and aftersales: Delivering excellent service and building long-term partnerships; Commercial actions: Following up and implementing marketing and sales initiatives; Travel and client visits: Spending approximately 25% of your time visiting clients abroad; International trade fairs: Participating in international industry fairs and events; Digital meetings and reporting: Regular follow-up via Teams meetings and CRM reporting. What does your profile look like as a Sales Manager? Language skills: Fluent in German (required) and strong command of English (for internal communication); Dutch is a plus, but not mandatory; Commercial mindset: You are results-driven, communicative, and persuasive in client interactions; Flexible and travel-minded: You’re comfortable with traveling abroad approximately one week per month; Independent and organized: You can work autonomously and plan your sales activities efficiently; Digital skills: Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus; Experience: Both junior and senior profiles are welcome; experience in the furniture or retail sector is a strong asset, but not required.
